Our client is looking for an experienced People Operations professional to oversee complex employee matters, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with regional HR standards. This role will serve as a key escalation point for HR-related concerns and partner with cross-functional teams, including Talent Acquisition, HR Technology, Total Rewards, and Employee Experience, across the EMEA region.

Description

  • HR Process Leadership: Take ownership of specific People Operations workflows, maintaining documentation, updating internal knowledge bases, and coaching team members to build depth of expertise.
  • Operational Excellence: Continuously evaluate and improve existing HR procedures. Where possible, automate and simplify processes to create a more seamless experience for employees and internal stakeholders.
  • Promoting Self-Service: Use data insights to identify recurring queries and develop resources that empower employees to find answers independently. Maintain a clear, accessible library of support content.
  • Data & Technology Integration: Leverage advanced HR systems and AI tools to detect trends, identify areas for improvement, and implement smarter processes that reduce friction for users.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Maintain alignment with internal policies and regional employment laws. Support audit readiness by overseeing documentation for right-to-work checks and regulatory compliance (e.g. SOX, PWC audits).
  • Handling Escalated Issues: Lead resolution for nuanced and sensitive employee matters, supporting the broader HR team in troubleshooting and resolving intricate process or systems challenges.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Centres of Excellence to execute annual or cyclical HR initiatives and serve as a go-to resource for policy or process-related questions.
  • Workday and Systems Support: Manage complex HRIS transactions, including mass data uploads, rescinding workflows, and customising reports within Workday.
  • Day-to-Day HR Support: Assist with a wide range of People Operations tasks throughout the employee lifecycle - from onboarding and benefits queries to offboarding.

Profile

A successful candidate should have:

  • You bring 5+ years of hands-on experience in a People Operations or HR Advisory role, with a strong understanding of HR processes and practices across the EMEA region.
  • You're an expert in employee lifecycle processes and can guide others confidently.
  • You've successfully improved HR processes and ensured regulatory compliance in previous roles.
  • Analytical by nature, you enjoy finding ways to work smarter and use technology to boost efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • You're comfortable managing complex situations and acting as the final point of resolution.
  • Familiarity with tools like Workday, Greenhouse, and ServiceNow is highly desirable.
