Maintenance Shift Supervisor 

Location: City of London
Salary: Up to £55k, based on experience
Continental Shift - Days and Nights 7-7

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and oversee a team of skilled engineers (Mechanical / Electrical) to ensure smooth daily operations.

  • Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of systems and equipment.

  • Schedule and supervise preventative maintenance tasks to minimise downtime.

  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and electrical codes.

  • Conduct training sessions and toolbox talks to upskill team members and promote a safe working environment.

  • Manage inventory of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as an maintenance technician, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role (Desired).

  • Strong knowledge of systems, equipment, and troubleshooting techniques.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in maintenance.

  • A relevant maintenance qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with maintenance management software is a plus.
