Rate: 400 per day (Inside IR35)

Location: North London
Key Duties:
To take direct and indirect operational responsibility for ensuring the Council's compliance with its landlord statutory and non-statutory duties and obligations is met and maintained on the portfolios assigned to the post holder.
To undertake the role of supervising officer/contract administrator/contracts manager (depending upon form of contract) in relation to managing contracts with mechanical and electrical, works and service contracts.
Provide strategic direction and risk management accountability for compliance on the portfolios assigned to the post holder.
The compliance portfolios will be assigned to each post holder from the following list:
* Electrical equipment
* Domestic Electrical wiring testing
* Communal Electrical wiring testing
* Carbon reduction compliance
* Lightning Protection
* Automatic Barriers & Gates
* Passenger Lifts and stair lifts
* Lifting Equipment
* Lightning Protection
* Automatic Gates / Barriers
* Access Control (Door Entry)
* Health & Safety Inc. CDM regulations and contractor competence
* Control of Substances Hazardous to Health - COSHH
* All other areas of compliance that may become apparent.
* Works and services arising from fire risk assessments.
* Works and services arising from Building Safer Futures.
* Other works and services that may arise.
