Salary: NJC scale 20 - 22 (41,162 - 43,299 ) FTE, actual TTO salary (21,329 - 22,437 ) plus access to Local Government Pension Scheme
Job type: Permanent, 21 hours per week, term time only (TTO)

The Role:
Are you enthusiastic and proactive? We're on the hunt for a dedicated Compliance Officer to be part of our dynamic team at St Francis Xavier Sixth Form College!
As a Compliance Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our college meets the highest standards and best practices in compliance while ensuring the College meets its statutory obligations. Particularly, you will have responsibility for health and safety, UK GDPR compliance, sustainability, and policy oversight. You will oversee and implement policies to maintain a safe learning environment, safeguard data privacy, and ensure adherence to data protection regulations. Additionally, you'll drive initiatives to help us achieve our goal of moving towards net zero while managing and ensuring compliance with college policies.
We are looking for someone with strong organisational and administrative skills, proficient in the use of data with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and students is essential, as is the ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
While experience in a similar role within post-16 education is advantageous, it is not essential. We value your enthusiasm and willingness to learn, and we will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.
