A fantastic opportunity has emerged for a Temporary Accommodation Management Officer to join the homeless department at one of Adecco's most improved Local Authority clients for the next six months, in an interim/temporary assignment which may lead to a permanent placement.

Working hybridly from our clients' office located near to Heathrow Airport (50% from home), this is a full time role (37 hours each week, Monday to Friday) and is very much a "hands-on" role working closely with clients living in Temporary Accommodation stock.

Your role will be to support residents in temporary housing (including visiting your clients on site in the borough), manage tenancies, and encourage move-on. Our client is looking for candidates with transferrable housing management experience but in temporary accommodation who can support clients living in temporary accommodation (e.g. conduct sign-ups, encourage move on and deal with tenancy related and property queries).

What we're looking for:

  • Experience in housing management in a temporary accommodation setting
  • Some knowledge of housing legislation (Parts 6 & 7, HRA 2017)
  • Familiarity with Jigsaw system
  • Excellent admin, IT, organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to inspect properties and manage voids efficiently
  • Ability to work at pace

Initially you will need to be in the office more frequently to ensure you are fully trained to be able to work adequately from home. In addition, a DBS is needed but a car driver/owner is not essential as you can get around the borough to visit your properties by foot or public transport.

Only applicants who feel they meet the above criteria and can start on short notice (1-2 weeks' notice) need apply.
