About the Role:

We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and passionate Research Manager to join a leading market research firm specializing in the commercial insurance sector. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders and the research team to manage both syndicated and ad-hoc studies across the full project lifecycle. You'll be responsible for driving impactful research, from initial design to final report delivery, all while working directly with clients to provide real, actionable insights.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Research Manager will have the following role and responsibilities.

  • Coordinate the research process from start to finish, ensuring tasks are allocated efficiently and projects stay on track with timelines.
  • Manage data collection and analysis processes, building detailed reports and engaging presentations for stakeholders.
  • Dive deep into data to uncover meaningful insights, conducting ad-hoc research and analysis where necessary.
  • Support senior management in developing and maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior staff, helping to foster a collaborative and high-performing team.
  • Work with the team to streamline systems and processes, ensuring scalability and efficiency in the way the business operates.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The Research Manager will have the following skills and experience.

  • At least 2 years of relevant market research experience, ideally within a research agency setting (experience in B2B research is a plus).
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. You will be comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, particularly with survey-based datasets. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
  • Proven experience with both quantitative and qualitative research methods. While advanced statistical analysis skills are not required at this stage, they are a bonus and will be developed on the job.
  • Ability to analyze early findings, form hypotheses, and determine the best approach for testing them.
  • A "can-do" attitude, curiosity, and a passion for innovation. Interest in the commercial insurance sector is a plus but not essential.
  • Ability to work independently but also as part of a team to achieve collective goals.
  • You must possess the right to work in the UK.
