Le Cafe du Marche is an independent French restaurant, based in Clerkenwell, London.

Established in 1986, we serve French food in rustic, convivial surrounds, with live jazz music every evening. Our reservation diary is open for bookings from Tuesdays to Saturdays.

We are looking for a full time Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team.

The Assistant Restaurant Manager needs to have previous experience in a fine dining restaurant and event management; able to communicate with our guests in a polite, friendly manner. Needs to have a good personality to host our diners.

Part of the requirements and job responsibilities include:

managing the team on duty
welcoming guests
hands on approach
running big and small events
answering restaurant and event enquiries
opentable booking system proficiency
previous bar experience
closing duties
managing guest comments and complaints

The knowledge of the French language is beneficial.
