The Assistant Manager will support the Managers in all aspects of daily operations, ensuring smooth service, team leadership, and excellent guest satisfaction. This is a key role for our new opening you will help establish operational standards, train staff, and build the restaurants reputation from day one.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist the Managers in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
Support hiring, onboarding, and training of front-of-house staff.
Maintain high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness.
Manage staff scheduling, shift coverage, and labor costs.
Monitor inventory, order supplies, and control costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Help implement marketing and community engagement initiatives during the launch phase.
Foster a positive and motivating work environment.
Proven experience as an Assistant Manager, Shift Supervisor, or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional customer service mindset.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Knowledge of restaurant management systems and POS software.
Understanding of budgeting, scheduling, and inventory control.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Previous involvement in a new restaurant opening or launch team is a plus.
