Sonic Summary

We are a private company managing 15,000 lock-up garages across the UK, primarily for self-storage purposes.
We are looking for a Maintenance Operative to oversee the upkeep of garage sites in North/North West London.
The role involves performing various planned and reactive maintenance tasks, including weeding, debris removal, and repairs to forecourts and gutters.
Candidates should have a clean driving license, practical skills, and a strong work ethic; prior experience in brickwork, carpentry, drainage, or roof work is beneficial but not required.
The position requires at least 2 years of experience, with a salary of £25,000 per year.

We are a private company and owner of 15,000 Lock-up Garages throughout the UK primarily used for self-storage.

We are seeking a Maintenance Operative to maintain and upkeep the garages sites ins and around a designated area (North/ north West London) to ensure that they are kept safe, secure and in good condition,

You will be required to carry out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks, which will be varied in nature. Whilst not exhaustive as a minimum:

-Weeding/sweeping the vegetation of compound ,

-Removal of debris from the garage roofs,

-Forecourts (potholes, Repair Tarmac, Repair type 1 concreting)

-Guttering Clearance, Repairs, replacement and renewal

-Fly tip Removal and debris clearance

-Garage clearance

-Painting of Doors, Frames and Fascias,

- Lubrication of door runners, Gates and hinges

-Report defects to the office

-Erect and Maintain Signage (Advertising and instructional ie Fragile roofs etc)

Brickwork/Carpentry/Drainage/Roof work experience not essential; but could be beneficial.

You should have a clean driving licence, be practical, dependable and have high work ethic.
