Job Title: Maintenance Operative
Location: Tottenham Court Road, London (other site visits will be required around London)
Pay: 15 - 17 per hour
Duration: Temporary, 3 months minimum
Start: ASAP
Hours/Days: Full Time, Monday - Friday 8am-5pm (some weekends and overtime may be offered)

Responsibilities:
- Assist with day-to-day facilities tasks as instructed by the Facilities team.
- Supervise contractors performing minor or small works, including MEP tasks as required.
- Work alongside the in-house decorating team and the CAFM administrator to plan and coordinate works.
- Conduct weekly site inspections focusing on maintenance issues, including roof checks and front-of-house facilities.
- Manage stores for general spares and collaborate with the maintenance manager to keep inventory up to date.
- Assist with Legionella-related tasks, coordinating with contractors and the maintenance team.
- Liaise with our outsourced maintenance team to resolve outstanding issues.
- Collaborate with specialist drainage contractors to ensure satisfactory completion of drainage-related works.
Experience/Skills required:
- Proactive and flexible attitude, demonstrating a 'can do' approach under pressure.
- Strong client-focused mindset with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
- Adaptable, able to meet diverse requirements in a professional manner.
- Demonstrable management experience, particularly in attendance issues.
- Experience using CAFM systems is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Legionella Management/Awareness, and Mechanical or Electrical disciplines.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Proven track record in maintenance/hard services or Facilities Management.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of Soft FM, Security, and Front-of-House Services.
- Familiarity with the Theatre, Hotels, and Leisure Industry.
- Working knowledge of ACOP L8 regulations.
