Job Description: Sales and business development

Title: Sales Manager

Industry: Large Format / Signage

Reporting to: MD

Basic Salary: 35k-60k Basic OTE Car Allowance Laptop Mobile

Job Purpose:

You will be targeted to achieve business growth by acquiring new clients and building and maintaining close relationships with our existing clients.

Duties and Responsibilities include:

  • Generating and responding to recent sales leads.
  • Develop and follow an agreed consistent sales plan to meet or exceed targeted sales from new and existing clients.
  • Attend regular sales review meetings with the management team.
  • Act as a client advocate and escalation point to ensure resolution of any client issues within a timely manner.
  • Liaise with internal resources where appropriate to facilitate client requests and to ensure timely responses are filtered back to the client.

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in large format printing and / or signage
  • Proven sales record
  • Ability to quickly build credibility and define customer requirements
  • Experience of working with large and small customers
  • Ability to maintain accurate client communication
  • Articulate, friendly, optimistic, goal orientated and success driven
  • Highly organised and results-oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills
  • A great deal of personal initiative and strong hands-on attitude along with creativeness, decisiveness and results-driven mentality

This position is for a Business Development Executive. This is a demanding and rewarding role for a professional individual with strong sales experience - or a graduate who can demonstrate exceptional talent. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the employee will be tasked with sales performance measured in terms of revenue growth and client retention.
