The key responsibilities for the role of Collections Account Manager (FTC) include:
- Manage and reduce arrears under 60 days through proactive collection activity
- Accurately allocate incoming payments in coordination with the accounts team
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external clients to ensure prompt payment
- Administer late payment interest charges where applicable
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, Consumer Credit Legislation, and the Data Protection Act
- Support with general administrative tasks and ad hoc duties as needed
Profile
The successful candidate for the role of Collections Account Manager (FTC) will have:
- Minimum 2 years experience in debt collection or credit control, with strong knowledge of arrears management.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong Excel proficiency and ability to resolve technical allocation and reconciliation issues.
