Accounts Assistant - Property Sector

Location: Battersea, London
Salary: 35,000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent

Our client, a well-established and growing property company based in Battersea, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance and a keen interest in the property sector.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and supplier payments
  • Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end reporting and journal entries
  • Maintain and update the general ledger
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve financial queries
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping


Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of payables and bank reconciliation
  • Experience in the property sector is highly desirable
  • AAT qualification (or currently studying towards it) preferred
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • A team player with a proactive and professional approach
