Our client, a well-established and growing property company based in Battersea, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in finance and a keen interest in the property sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage accounts payable, including invoice processing and supplier payments
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end reporting and journal entries
- Maintain and update the general ledger
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve financial queries
- Ensure accurate and timely financial record-keeping
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
- Strong understanding of payables and bank reconciliation
- Experience in the property sector is highly desirable
- AAT qualification (or currently studying towards it) preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or similar
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- A team player with a proactive and professional approach
