Finance Assistant (German Speaking) | Creative Agency | London
Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with a Global Independent Creative Agency helping with their search for a German Speaking Finance Assistant to join their rapidly growing team. They are part of a wider UK & Global group, which spans across 25 countries with major hubs in UK, Europe & Asia. They have grown by nearly 50% in terms of headcount & revenue and are looking to double in size over the next 3 years. This branch of the group work directly with brands to create original, strategic, collaborative partnerships and campaigns.
With a fantastic office space in the heart of Central London, where they like to make use of the vibrant bars and restaurants nearby, they are a values driven business who are now looking for an eager Finance Assistant to join their sociable, collaborative finance team, with the opportunity for excellent career progression.
The Role:
Working closely with the Finance Director and Finance Manager, the role is a great opportunity for a Finance Assistant to develop on their transactional skills. The role offers significant commercial exposure, such dealing with client funds & monthly statements, and supporting on revenue to the wider business to ensure financial efficiency. The role offers a generous study support package and has clear scope to progress to Management Accountant within a 12-18-months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the credit control function
- Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Credit control and maintenance of the sales ledger
- Weekly sales ledger reporting and commentary to the FM & FD
- Post client funds to client account, and preparation of client monthly statements
- Vendor form completion and portal submission
- Ad hoc revenue reporting & other wider business functions
What We Need to See (Essential Skills):
- Fluent in German
- 6-18 months in a Finance Assistant role or similar
- Creative Agency / Media / Events experience
- Ambitious professional keen to study towards an accountancy qualification
- Enthusiastic and excited about working in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Strong communication skills and team player
- Incredibly ambitious with a desire to continue to learn
What We Would Like to See (Bonus Skills):
- Experience using NetSuite
Salary: £30,000-£35,000
Location: Central London / Hybrid
Start Date: ASAP
