I'm partnering with a globally renowned, award-winning PR agency to find a German-speaking Finance Assistant to join their London team. You’ll be joining a dynamic business known for their collaborative culture and high-profile international clients.
The Role
This is a newly created role, very exciting opportunity to become part of a fast-paced finance function supporting their growing European operations.
This is a permanent role with hybrid working and amazing benefits on offer!
Main Duties
- Management of the transactional finance process; overseeing accounts payable and receivable including supplier payments, billing, sales and purchase invoicing, expenses and credit card management
- Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
- Support VAT and tax compliance in both the UK and Germany
- Liaising with accountants in Germany to ensure local regulatory compliance
- Assist with month-end reporting, reconciliations, and audit preparation
- Ad-hoc duties when required
The Successful Candidate
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
- Experience in a similar Finance Assistant/Accounts Assistant role
- Previous experience within international finance operations or multi-currency environments is beneficial
- Strong systems skills including Netsuite/SAP/Xero and strong Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
