An Art Teacher is needed in a Mixed Secondary School & Sixth Form in East London.

This Art Teacher position will be full time and permanent.

Teaching for this Art Teacher post will be for KS3 to KS5 classes.

The salary for this Art Teacher role will be between £36413 and £53994, depending on the experiences and qualifications of each applicant.

The School

A Coeducational Secondary Free School & Sixth Form, located between the London Boroughs of Newham and Tower Hamlets.

A heavy focus is placed on Grammar at the school.

Students are entered in to GCSE and EPQ qualifications.

From Year 7 to Year 11, all pupils learn the 3 Core Sciences, English, Maths, Ethics and Sports.

At 6th Form level, all pupils must take up a Maths and Science course. They must then choose two more subjects from Philosophy, Economics, Humanities, Latin, English Literature or Art. The reason for this is because the school wants to produce future scientists, medics and engineers.

Currently the school is split across two different sites, with one acting as the main site for lower school and the other acting as the upper school site.

Requirements

You're welcome to apply if you're an ECT Art Teacher or an experienced Art Teacher.

Applications are also encouraged if you are a British trained Art Teacher or overseas trained Art Teacher.
