A creative and enthusiastic Art Teacher is required to join a well-regarded Independent school in Haringey for a permanent position commencing in September. Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging ArtTeacher lessons covering a range of artistic disciplines and techniques to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Develop students' skills in drawing, painting, sculpture, and other art forms.
  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive studio environment that encourages experimentation and personal expression.
  • Assess and monitor student progress in Art, providing constructive feedback to support their artistic journey.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Art and Design.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching ArtTeacher lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • A strong knowledge of art history, theory, and practical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of inspiring a passion for art in students.
