Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a high-achieving secondary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Art Teacher for a full-time position starting in September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity for either an Experienced Teacher or Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a well-resourced and supportive department in a vibrant school community.

Job Role Requirements:

  • Deliver engaging and creative Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Develop students' artistic skills and encourage creativity and critical thinking
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate varying learning styles
  • Contribute to the department's curriculum planning and extracurricular activities
  • Uphold high standards of classroom management and student achievement

Qualifications and Person Specification (French Teacher - KS3 & KS4):

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Degree in Art or a related subject
  • Ability to teach Art confidently up to GCSE level
  • Strong classroom presence and excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
  • Passionate about education and student progress
  • A proactive and reflective practitioner who is committed to continuous improvement
