The Role

The successful candidate will lead the English department, playing a key role in shaping and developing the curriculum at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be part of a highly collaborative team of five English specialists, working closely with senior leaders to raise standards and support continued improvement across the department.

Pupils at the school enjoy interactive and engaging lessons and are enthusiastic about English, recognising its importance for their future. The school offers mixed prior attainment groups in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with a dedicated reading lesson included at Key Stage 3.
