GSL Education London Branch is currently looking for a motivated and committed ECT Science Teacher to work in schools across the Tower Hamlets and Newham areas. If you're completing your teacher training and looking for your first teaching role in a supportive environment, this could be the perfect opportunity.

As an ECT Science Teacher, you’ll be joining schools where staff are passionate about teaching and students are eager to learn. You’ll be supported through your induction year and have the chance to develop your skills in a welcoming team.

ECT Science Teacher Responsibilities:
  • Teach engaging and well-planned science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.

  • Use a variety of teaching methods to support different learning styles.

  • Assess and track student progress, offering feedback and guidance.

  • Contribute to the planning and development of the science curriculum.

  • Take part in school activities, meetings, and parents’ evenings as required.

  • Work closely with other teachers and support staff to ensure positive outcomes for students.

ECT Science Teacher Requirements:
  • Must has a QTS (or working towards it).

  • Strong knowledge of the science curriculum and a genuine interest in the subject.

  • Good classroom management and organisational skills.

  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow as a teacher.

  • Flexible and able to adapt to different school environments across Tower Hamlets and Newham.
