About the Role

Cactus Recruitment invites applications from qualified and experienced English Teachers for placement at one of our partner British international schools located in Ajman, UAE.
The successful candidate will join the school’s Upper Primary / Lower Secondary division (Years 6–8), delivering an engaging and rigorous programme aligned with the National Curriculum for England.

This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative and academically ambitious environment that prioritises both excellence in teaching and the holistic development of its learners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons in accordance with the British Curriculum standards.

  • Differentiate instruction to cater for the varied learning needs of students.

  • Utilise formative and summative assessments to monitor, evaluate, and improve student performance.

  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and contribute to formal reporting.

  • Engage in curriculum review, departmental meetings, and continuous professional development.

  • Uphold the school’s safeguarding and welfare policies.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a closely related discipline.

  • Recognised teaching qualification or licence (UK/US/SA).

  • Minimum of two years’ post-qualification teaching experience.

  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.
