Enthusiastic English Teacher Wanted in Hammersmith & Fulham! Creative Secondary School

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham Role: English Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for literature, language, and communication skills.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues within the English department to share best practice and enhance the English curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in English.
• Potentially contribute to the teaching of English Language and Literature at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English Language and Literature or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject of English.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in English within a creative framework.
• A commitment to fostering a love of reading, writing, and communication within a brilliant and encouraging setting.
