Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level.
• Inspire students to develop strong language skills, effective communication, and a love for literature.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the English curriculum, emphasizing articulate expression.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in English.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages clear and confident communication, both written and spoken.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in English Language and Literature, Linguistics, Communication, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching English at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for language, literature, and communication.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire articulate expression in students.
