Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Assess and track student progress to ensure high attainment and achievement

  • Differentiate lessons to cater to the needs of all students, including those with SEN

  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum improvements

Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching English at secondary level, including exam preparation

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to motivate students

  • A commitment to high expectations and academic excellence

  • Experience working with students with additional needs is desirable but not essential
