Graduate Science Technician - Secondary School - Waltham Forest

Are you a recent science graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting? A vibrant and well-equipped secondary school in Waltham Forest is looking for a motivated Graduate Science Technician to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use your scientific knowledge in a practical, real-world environment-supporting experiments, preparing resources, and helping bring science lessons to life. It's an ideal first step if you're considering a future in teaching, laboratory work, or science education.

What you'll be doing:

  • Preparing equipment and materials for biology, chemistry and physics lessons
  • Supporting students and teachers during practical experiments
  • Ensuring the science labs are safe, clean and fully stocked
  • Helping manage chemicals and equipment in line with health and safety guidelines
  • Gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced, educational environment

What we're looking for:

  • A science-related degree (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)

  • An understanding of lab safety (COSHH/CLEAPSS knowledge is a bonus, but training can be provided)
