A client of ours-an Outstanding secondary school in Central London-is looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Chemistry to join their successful Science faculty from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Chemistry teacher ready to step into leadership or for someone with leadership experience looking for a new challenge in a supportive and high-achieving environment.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Lead the Chemistry department and support colleagues in delivering outstanding lessons

  • Develop and refine the Chemistry curriculum across KS3-KS5

  • Support departmental improvement and whole-school initiatives

  • Teach engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students

  • Work closely with the senior leadership and wider Science faculty

What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong subject background in Chemistry

  • Experience teaching up to A-Level (or a willingness to develop in this area)

  • Confident leader or aspiring leader with strong communication and teamworking skills

  • Passionate about student achievement and curriculum innovation
