A client of ours-an Outstanding secondary school in Central London-is looking to appoint a dynamic and experienced Head of Chemistry to join their successful Science faculty from September 2025.

Role Responsibilities:-
Lead the Chemistry department and support colleagues in delivering outstanding lessons

Develop and refine the Chemistry curriculum across KS3-KS5

Support departmental improvement and whole-school initiatives

Teach engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge students

Work closely with the senior leadership and wider Science faculty

Qualified Teacher (QTS/QTLS) with a strong subject background in Chemistry

Experience teaching up to A-Level (or a willingness to develop in this area)

Confident leader or aspiring leader with strong communication and teamworking skills

Passionate about student achievement and curriculum innovation
