Location:WestminsterRole:History Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliverengagingand challengingHistorylessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of historical periods and events.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance theHistorycurriculum within ourengaging schoolcontext.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress inHistory.
• Potentially contribute to extracurricularHistoryclubs or trips, enhancing theengaginglearning experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree inHistoryor a related field.
• Proven experience teachingHistoryat secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject ofHistory.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to bringHistoryto life for students in anengagingway.
• A commitment to fostering critical thinking and historical understanding within ourengaging schoolcommunity.
