Passionate History Teacher Wanted in Hammersmith! Thriving Humanities Faculty

Our well-respected school in Hammersmith & Fulham is seeking a Passionate History Teacher to join our thriving Humanities faculty. The successful candidate will teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level History. We are looking for a History Teacher who can bring the past to life for our students and foster a love of historical inquiry.

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham Role: History Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent) Salary: MPS/UPS

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across Key Stages 3-4 (and potentially KS5).
  • Inspire students to develop a critical understanding of historical events and their significance.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Humanities faculty to share best practice and enhance the History curriculum.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in History.
  • Potentially contribute to the teaching of History at A-Level, depending on experience.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in History.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire students in History.
