We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable History Teacher to join a welcoming and high-achieving secondary setting for a short-term contract from January to April 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed practitioner who is passionate about inspiring young people and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

Teach History across KS3 and KS4

Deliver engaging and challenging lessons that support excellent progress

Contribute to planning, assessment, and curriculum enrichment

Maintain high expectations around behaviour, engagement, and achievement

Work collaboratively with a supportive Humanities team
The Ideal Candidate

Qualified teacher status (QTS or equivalent)
-
Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching KS3–KS4

Creative, reflective, and committed to high-quality teaching

Able to build strong rapport with pupils and colleagues

Well-organised, proactive, and adaptable to new environments
