Maths and Science Teacher

Maths and English Teacher - Full Time - September Start - Temp to Perm - Chiswick

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual with a passion for working alongside children? We are currently recruiting for a Maths and Science Teacher to work full time at a special needs school based in Chiswick.

This special needs school go above and beyond for young individuals with ASD, SLD, SEMHD etc, working in smaller classrooms to help encourage learner engagement and working closely with a group of excellent Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain safeguarding/health and safety policies of the school
• Ensure a personalised approach to teaching in order to tailor to the individual needs of each learner
• Plan and teach high quality Maths and Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
• Know how ASD can create barriers to learning and how to overcome them
• Update parents/caregivers on students progression
