As our Teacher of Maths, joining us in September 2025, with a significant leadership role in A-Level Maths (and potentially Further Maths), you will:
- Lead and Inspire: Take a lead role in the delivery and development of the Maths curriculum across all key stages, inspiring high-achieving students, particularly at Key Stage 5, to reach their full academic potential and fostering a school-wide appreciation for mathematical reasoning and problem-solving.
- Shape Curriculum Innovation: Have the opportunity to contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of our Maths curriculum, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies, the use of technology and mathematical software, and exploring advanced mathematical concepts relevant to further study and careers, with a focus on the demands of A-Level (and Further Maths).
- Mentor and Guide: Act as a role model and mentor for students with a passion for Mathematics, fostering their aspirations for further study and careers in mathematics, statistics, finance, engineering, and related STEM fields, particularly guiding our A-Level students towards university success.
- Collaborate with a Dedicated Maths Team: Work alongside a team of experienced and passionate Maths specialists, sharing best practices and contributing to the overall success of the department, with a key focus on the delivery of an outstanding A-Level Maths program (and Further Maths if applicable).

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Maths teacher with a proven track record of outstanding results across all key stages. Experience in leading curriculum development, developing resources, and working with diverse student populations is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the A-Level Maths specification (and ideally Further Maths) being essential. You will possess a deep understanding of mathematical principles and theories, excellent pedagogical skills, and the ability to motivate and challenge students of all abilities, with a particular focus on the demands of Key Stage 5.
