We are currently supporting one of our long-standing clients, a highly regarded secondary school in Tower Hamlets, in their search for a qualified and enthusiastic Teacher of Maths to join their successful Mathematics department. This full-time position is to cover a maternity leave starting in September 2025

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience desirable but not essential)
  • Use data to monitor student progress and support achievement for all learners
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning
  • Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and student engagement

Qualifications and Person Specification:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent) with QTS in the UK
  • A strong academic background in Mathematics or a related field
  • Experience teaching Maths in UK secondary schools
  • A commitment to inclusive and high-quality teaching practices
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A proactive and reflective teaching approach
