We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive secondary school based in Southwark. This is a full-time teaching role starting in September, running for the entire academic year, with the possibility of extension or a permanent offer for the right candidate.

  • Position: Maths Teacher (KS3 & KS4)

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Duration: Full academic year

  • Location: Southwark, South London

  • Contract: Full-time, via agency - 180-220 per day depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students

  • Plan, prepare, and assess students' work in line with the national curriculum

  • Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback

  • Work closely with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development and departmental success

  • Uphold high standards of behaviour and classroom management



The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for mathematics

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students
