Permanent Teacher of Maths - An Outstanding Hackney School (Maths Department)
An outstanding school in Hackney is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Permanent Teacher of Maths to join our supportive Maths Department. You will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with potential for KS5) to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for the power of mathematics and its problem-solving applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons that cater to a range of learning abilities.
- Cultivate a positive and growth-oriented mindset towards mathematics in our students.
- Contribute to the development of a stimulating and relevant Maths curriculum.
- Assess student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
- Collaborate actively with colleagues within the Maths Department to share innovative teaching strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A strong degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrable experience of successfully teaching Maths at secondary level.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and the ability to make it accessible and engaging for all students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
