About the Role
Cactus Recruitment is seeking a female Physical Education Teacher to join one of our partner international all-girls schools located in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.
This role offers a unique opportunity to empower young women through sports in a culturally rich and dynamic international setting. The school provides a nurturing environment that values physical wellbeing, confidence, and teamwork as key components of holistic education.
The successful candidate will design and deliver engaging lessons that promote fitness, participation, and leadership, while supporting the school’s mission to encourage girls to achieve excellence both on and off the field.
The school also runs signature programmes such as annual sports days, inter-school competitions, and community outreach initiatives that celebrate achievement and teamwork at every level.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality and engaging PE lessons across multiple grade levels, inspiring participation and enthusiasm for sport and physical wellbeing.

Plan inclusive, developmentally appropriate lessons that build skills, confidence, and cooperation.

Ensure all activities respect cultural and religious values, fostering an inclusive environment for all students.

Organise and lead annual sports days, inter-school competitions, and community-based sports events.

Supervise extracurricular activities and after-school clubs to extend learning beyond the classroom.

Maintain health and safety standards in all activities and ensure proper use of sports facilities and equipment.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the school’s physical education programme and overall student experience.

Serve as a role model, promoting positive attitudes, teamwork, and self-discipline.
Candidate Profile

Female candidates only (as per school requirements).

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.

Recognised teaching licence or qualification (UK/US/SA).

Minimum 2 years’ post-qualification experience.

Experience working in an international or multicultural environment is an advantage.

Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Enthusiasm for motivating students and promoting active, healthy lifestyles.
