We are currently seeking Qualified Science Teachers (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialists) to join a range of excellent and inclusive secondary schools across Camden. These schools offer a supportive teaching environment, strong leadership, and a genuine commitment to staff development.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5), tailored to meet the needs of diverse learners. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced practitioner, there are opportunities to grow and progress within the department and wider school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach Science across the relevant key stages (KS3-KS4; KS5 desirable)
Deliver well-structured and differentiated lessons in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics
Monitor student progress and use assessment data to inform teaching
Contribute to the development of an engaging and forward-thinking Science curriculum
Support extracurricular activities, including STEM clubs and science fairs
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Were Looking For:
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or combined)
Excellent subject knowledge and a passion for science education
Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
A commitment to inclusion and raising achievement for all learners
Experience teaching A-Level (optional but advantageous)
