In the heart of Hackney, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is on the hunt for a Religious Education (RE) Teacher / ECT for an September start. This is a permanent, full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Religious Education (RE) Teacher / ECT who is keen to add value to an expanding Religious Education (RE) Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced religious education (RE) teachers can take on a TLR role such as KS3 coordinator, pastoral responsibility, and more. Newly Qualified Religious Education (RE)Teachers (NQT) will be enrolled onto the school's very own bespoke NQT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Religious Education (RE)Teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
  • Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
  • Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
  • You must be able to work as part of a large team of Religious Education (RE)Teachers
  • Must be willing to listen to feedback
