Dedicated Religious Education Teacher Wanted in Westminster! Ethical Studies Secondary School Location: Westminster Role: Religious Education Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Religious Education lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level, with a particular focus on ethical studies and moral philosophy.
  • Inspire students to develop a strong understanding of different ethical frameworks and their application to contemporary issues.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the RE curriculum with a strong emphasis on ethical studies.
  • Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Education, particularly in the area of ethical reasoning.
  • Foster a classroom environment that encourages critical thinking, moral deliberation, and the development of students' own ethical perspectives.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, Ethics, or a related field.
