Enthusiastic Religious Studies Teacher Wanted in Hammersmith & Fulham! Inclusive Secondary School

Location: Hammersmith & Fulham Role: Religious Studies Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3-4, and potentially A-Level.
• Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a variety of religious and ethical perspectives.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the RS curriculum.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Religious Studies.
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages respectful dialogue and critical thinking.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Theology, Religious Studies, Philosophy, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
• Strong subject knowledge across a range of religious and ethical traditions.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate sensitive and engaging discussions.
• A commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful learning environment.
