Are you a passionate and resilient Science Teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of young people with SEMH and complex communication needs?
We are seeking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teacher of Science to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking specialist setting where creativity, adaptability, and relationships are at the heart of the teaching and learning experience.
We welcome applications from experienced teachers from both primary and secondary backgrounds, including those with experience in mainstream or special education settings.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge in Science
Experience working with students who present with challenging behaviour
A proven ability to motivate and inspire disengaged learners
A flexible, adaptable approach and a willingness to innovate
Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
Confident IT skills to support planning, delivery, and assessment
A genuine desire to work with students who may have had significant barriers to learning
Full training and CPD will be encouraged and provided by the school.
