We are working with a school in Peckham who are seeking a September Maths Teacher/Tutor.
This SEND school is independent and have slightly different working hours to mainstream schools.
09:30am arrival. Teaching from 10-12:00 then 13:00-15:00- wrap up at 15:00 leave by 15:45 daily.
This is a full time 5 day per week position.
The school caters for students aged 14-18 years old who are no longer in mainstream education and in this fantastic alternative provision. Students have SEMH needs and at times get distracted with work and can pose challenging behaviours- but overall have a positive attitude to learning.
To be considered for this role- you will need:
- Experience of working with SEND
- Tutoring or teaching experience delivering Maths as a GCSE subject
- Able to commit to 5 working days per week
- Have a therapeutic and caring approach
