We are currently seeking a dynamic Teacher of Spanish to join a forward-thinking team in a thriving secondary school. This is a full-time, permanent position starting in September. Teacher of Spanish – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree
  • The ability to Teach Spanish to KS4 and some French at KS3
  • Have excellent Spanish subject knowledge
  • A secure knowledge and understanding of the concepts and skills essential for students studying a MFL to succeed
  • A secure knowledge of assessment for learning strategies
  • Knowledge and understanding of the school curriculum, including the National Curriculum for pupils aged 11 to 18
  • Understanding of the principles behind school improvement planning, monitoring, review and evaluation of progress
  • Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies and procedures

  •  Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise and manage own workload effectively
