Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School - Haringey
Full Time | Term Time Only | ASAP Start
110-125 per day | Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)

Long Term Futures are recruiting an experienced Behaviour Mentor to join a secondary school in Haringey, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 who require additional behavioural and pastoral support.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone already working in education, ideally within a secondary school setting, who is looking to step up into a more senior pastoral or behaviour-focused role. The role involves working closely with pastoral leaders, SEN staff and teaching teams to help students re-engage with learning and develop positive behaviour strategies.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group behaviour and pastoral support across KS3 and KS4
  • Support students with emotional regulation, behaviour management and engagement
  • Implement behaviour support plans and restorative approaches
  • Work closely with pastoral leads, SEN staff and senior leadership
  • Support students during lessons, interventions and unstructured times
  • Promote positive behaviour, resilience and inclusion


Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working in a school environment (secondary setting preferred)
  • Proven experience supporting students with behavioural or pastoral needs
  • A calm, consistent and confident approach
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Understanding of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies
  • Ambition to progress into senior pastoral, behaviour or inclusion roles
