Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School, Harrow

A primary school in Harrow borough is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA (or very experienced Teaching Assistant) to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on varied responsibilities across year groups in a vibrant school community.

Role details:

• Position: HLTA / Experienced TA
• Location: South Harrow, London
• Pay: 115-125 per day (negotiable)

Key responsibilities:

• Providing general classroom support across the school
• Delivering whole-class teaching when required, covering lessons across different year groups
• Supporting teaching and learning to ensure all pupils are engaged and making progress
• Adapting quickly to changing plans and maintaining a positive, proactive approach

The successful candidate will:

• Be an HLTA or highly experienced Teaching Assistant with proven experience of taking classes independently
• Have strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management skills
• Be a clear and confident communicator, reliable and adaptable
• Demonstrate enthusiasm for supporting children's learning across all primary phases
