An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a highly respected and forward-thinking primary school in the heart of Kensington.

We are looking for an exceptional individual with a passion for education and a commitment to supporting children to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers and senior staff to deliver high-quality learning experiences and provide targeted support across the school.

The Role

  • Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 1 and 2

  • Lead small group and 1:1 interventions to accelerate progress

  • Cover classes during teacher absence or release time, delivering engaging and effective lessons

  • Assist with planning, preparation, and assessment under the direction of teaching staff

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, events, and enrichment programmes

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold HLTA status (or equivalent qualification/experience)

  • Have proven experience supporting teaching and learning in a primary school setting

  • Demonstrate excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills

  • Show initiative, flexibility, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children

  • Be a positive team player who upholds the values and ethos of the school
