Contract: Full-time, long-term (with potential to go permanent)
Salary: 110-140 per day (depending on experience)
Academics are delighted to be supporting a friendly, well-resourced primary school in Wandsworth who are seeking a dedicated and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about raising attainment and making a meaningful impact on pupils' academic progress.
As the school's HLTA, you will play an important part in supporting teaching and learning across the school. Your responsibilities will include:
Leading small group interventions to strengthen understanding and build confidence
Delivering targeted Maths and English support sessions
Working collaboratively with teachers to help plan, prepare, and deliver effective learning support
Supporting assessment activities and contributing to the tracking of pupil progress
About You
The school is looking for an HLTA who:
Has strong experience working within a primary school as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Is confident leading academic interventions, particularly in Maths and English
Is proactive, organised, and able to work independently as well as within a team
Holds HLTA status or brings equivalent relevant experience
