Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Immediate Start

Are you a compassionate and proactive HLTA ready to take on a new and fulfilling role this Summer Term? SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to offer a unique opportunity to work within a dedicated Tuition Service in Redbridge, supporting students who are unable to attend mainstream education due to medical, emotional, or social needs.

This is a truly rewarding position where you'll play a vital part in helping vulnerable young people-aged 4 to 19-access tailored education in a safe and supportive setting. You'll join a passionate team of educators who are committed to inclusion, personal growth, and positive outcomes for every learner.

The Role:

  • Deliver personalised support across age groups from EYFS to Post-16
  • Work closely with teachers and specialists to implement individual learning plans
  • Provide pastoral care and maintain strong engagement with learners
  • Prepare resources and track progress in line with student needs
  • Build meaningful relationships and foster a nurturing learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • HLTA status or an equivalent relevant qualification
  • Experience working with children and young people with complex or additional needs
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a calm approach in alternative education settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education and helping students thrive
