We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support girls with Special Educational Needs (SEN), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), and Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) in South London.
This full-time, permanent position offers a salary ranging from £25,831 to £27,406 FTE (pro rata), with a start date in September 2025 or sooner.
The role involves providing 1:1 and small group interventions, collaborating with the SEND Lead and teaching staff to promote emotional wellbeing and achieve whole-school goals.
Candidates must have HLTA status or a willingness to train, along with experience in SEN, SEMH, or PMLD, and strong behavior management and communication skills.
Desirable qualifications include delivering accredited courses and working with external agencies, as well as knowledge of safeguarding guidelines (KCSIE).

The Role

Requirements

HLTA status or willingness to train
GCSE English & Maths (C or above)
Experience with SEN, SEMH, or PMLD
Strong behaviour and communication skills
Knowledge of safeguarding (KCSIE)
