Your responsibilities will include:* Providing one-to-one and small group support to students, helping them achieve their full potential.* Assisting teachers in the planning and delivery of engaging lessons.* Supporting classroom management and promoting a positive learning environment.* Helping with the preparation of learning materials and resources.* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring inclusivity in the classroom.* Contributing to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and events.Secondary Teaching Assistant - key responsibilities:* Deliver tailored academic support to students in line with their individual needs.* Assist with homework, exam preparation, and coursework.* Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.* Encourage a positive and motivated attitude towards learning.* Create engaging and interactive learning materials.* Support students in developing effective study habits and time management skills.Secondary Teaching Assistant - requirements:* A recent graduate with a 2:1 or above in English, Maths or Science (other academic subjects may be considered).* A passion for education and a commitment to supporting young people.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Patience, resilience, and a positive attitude.* The ability to work effectively as part of a team.* Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, or volunteering) is essential.* Willingness to obtain a DBS.How to apply:If this Secondary Teaching Assistant role sounds like something you would be interested in, please don't hesitate to apply via this advert.
